Lot and Home, LLC and its affiliates (“Lot and Home”) provide services and website access to you (“You”) subject to the following conditions. If you visit Lot and Home.com, request a voucher, buy a home through our program, or otherwise do business with Lot and Home through its website LotandHome.com (“Website”), you accept these conditions without modification. Please read them carefully. In addition, when you use any voucher, or other Lot and Home service or business you may also have to adopt other guidelines, terms and agreements (“Terms”) relating to such service or business. If these conditions are inconsistent with such Terms, the Terms will control. We occasionally will make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions of Use and you agree that we may do so at any time.
Lot and Home is only available to persons who are at least 18 years of age. If you are not 18, please do not request a voucher or seek to use any of our services.
Lot and Home is a real estate referral company and legally does not and cannot represent you. We may be able to refer you to a real estate professional who could provide such assistance.
Lot and Home in Your State
In most states, we are able to provide Buyers with a rebate check a few weeks after their home closes. However, real estate transactions are governed by the laws of the state in which the property is located, which means that our program may be limited and restricted by the rules in your state. If you are purchasing a home in Alabama, Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Oregon and Tennessee, we can provide matching services and referrals, but may not legally provide a rebate. Lot and Home is committed to complying with the laws of every state and we will upgrade the services available to buyers in each such state if and when state laws change.
We are also committed to complying with the guidelines of mortgage programs, so please check with your lender or mortgage professional to see if a rebate is permitted with your loan program. As such, we may have modified the Terms available in your state and under your loan program.
Rebates
Rebates are subject to the Terms associated with the program in your state. Generally, the following provisions apply, but read the Terms associated with your v carefully:
- Your rebate will be one percent of the base price of the new home. That means a $3,000 rebate on a $300,000 new home. Rebates are calculated on the base price of the home, not including options, upgrades or lot premiums.
- Each voucher is valid for 30 days from date of issue. If your voucher expires before you sign an Agreement of Sale, you can renew the voucher by clicking Buyer Log- In.
- You must present a voucher at your first visit to the property. If you initially inquire by telephone, write down the sales representative’s name and tell them that you have a Lot and Home rebate voucher. Be sure they record the time you called and your rebate voucher number.
- We may only provide a rebate or credit after settlement is executed and after a three percent referral fee is paid to Lot and Home and where you timely provide Lot and Home with all necessary documentation.
- If you are represented by a buyer’s agent, our ability to provide a rebate depends on your agent agreeing to our standard buyer’s agent compensation agreement. If your agent has any questions, he or she should e-mail Reprofessional@lotandhome.com with his or her name, brokerage, address, phone number, and state licensure information and the name under which you are registered on our Website.
Accuracy and Privacy of Information
Please review our Privacy Notice, which also governs your visit to Lot and Home.com, to understand our practices. By using our Website, we have entered into a business relationship as an information provider and referral source and not a real estate agent. You agree that you have provided Lot and Home with true and complete information in your dealings with us, including, but not limited to, your registration and voucher request. Pursuant to your agreement, Lot and Home will forward your information to, among others, any builders you designate and to our affiliated real estate professionals.
Information appearing on the Website has been obtained primarily from the builders of the homes and the owners of the lots. The builders and lot owners are responsible for the accuracy or completeness of such pictures and information and Lot and Home disclaims any responsibility for such third-party information. You should always check pricing and other information before signing a contract with a builder.
You agree that Lot and Home may communicate with you in electronic form, including via e-mail or posting on the Website, and that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
License and Site Access
Lot and Home grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of the Website. You may not download (other than page caching) or modify the images contained therein or any other portion of the Website unless you receive advance written consent of Lot and Home. The license granted herein does not include any resale or commercial use of this site or its contents; any collection and use of any home or lot listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of this site or its contents; or any use of data mining, spiders, crawlers, robots, or similar data extrac portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent of Lot and Home. You may not use any metatags or any other hidden text that utilizes Lot and Home’s service marks without the express written consent of Lot and Home. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission or license granted by Lot and Home.
